WELCOME TO HIGHLAND PRESS, Renton, Washington
Coinciding with the release of my first collection of fiction stories entitled ZOEY'S TALE AND OTHER SHORT FICTION, I have inaugurated this blog. The crest at the top of the page is HIGHLAND PRESS' logo, borrowing from the Sutherland clan in the Upper Highlands of Scotland. My middle name is Sutherland and I have traveled to the village of Wick in Scotland, from which my ancestors embarked to the U.S. in the late 19th century.
One of the things I hope to achieve with this blog is to discuss how I came to write ZOEY'S TALE and some of the challenges and pleasures that accompanied my journey. I am proud of this work and invite all to review the first 20 or 25 pages that are available at least in the e-page version at http://www.amazon.com/. I expect a sample of ZOEY'S TALE from the hard copy version to be available at amazon in the very near future, within a few days. Please let me hear from you. And the website needs traffic whether or not you are interested in actually purchasing the work. I invite any and all questions and observations, as well as criticisms of my writing. I can take it.
